An online event is like a physical event – it has a full conference programme, exhibitors and opportunities to network – however you don’t need to leave your office!
You simply register (for free) and then on the day login to the event from your PC or Mac. There’s no travel costs and compared to a physical event, a very low carbon footprint.
Just like a physical event it is split into 4 areas:
Exhibition Hall
The exhibition hall contains all the exhibitor stands. Delegates can visit exhibitor booths and see an exhibitor’s latest projects, pick up company information, view presentations or simply drop off their business card.

You can even communicate directly to company representatives via instant messenger.
Auditorium
The auditorium will host the conference programme with both live and pre-recorded keynotes spread over the two days. All attendees will be able to watch videos and webinars for free.
Many live webinars are also interactive with the opportunity to ask speakers questions and complete live polls while listening and watching the presentation.
Networking lounge
Whilst delegates can network in both the exhibition hall (with the exhibitors) and in the auditorium, the lounge provides a place for group conversations.
This will be the main networking area for delegates and Sustainability Now will help to facilitate conversation on a variety of subjects around sustainability.
Resource Centre
The resource centre is a unique area to virtual events that makes use of the flexibility of the digital environment by bringing together all downloads, white papers and reports from the event and all exhibitors.
This provides a sustainability library that you can browse through at your leisure and download items of interest.

Sustainability Now is run by the Client Solutions division of UBM Built Environment, publishers of Building, BD and Property Week magazines. Read more about Client Solutions on our website, www.beclientsolutions.com.
